Client/Potential Client Statement of Disclosure

The data controller Teks Team Gıda Nak. Temizlik San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (TEKS TEAM) collects and processes personal and specific personal data obtained from the documents, records and personal and specific data declared in regard to offers, contracts, opening running accounts and store sales within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) No. 6698 and other relevant legislation, takes necessary administrative and technical measures for storage and deletes and destroys the file or anonymises the content when the reasons for processing no longer exist. TEKS TEAM hereby informs that, it meets the requirements of KVKK with the policies and procedures it has identified, and that it has prepared to fulfil the statement of disclosure obligation arising from Article 10 of the KVKK in accordance with the Memorandum on the Procedures and Principles to be followed in the Fulfilment of the Disclosure Obligation.

A) Data Controller and Representative

Data Subjects: Customer (person receiving product or service), potential customer (potential buyer of a product and service)


Your personal data and specific personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  1. For the drawing up or execution of product offers and/or sales contracts, the execution of sales and after-sales services, the management of requests and complaints (to development of customer relations) and the execution of marketing and advertising campaigns procedures,
  2. In order to manage the operations and logistic activities to be carried out for the shipment and return of goods;
  3. To supply fabric and material and for subcontracting of production,
  4. For the purpose of conducting export,
  5. For insurance procedures for shipping and collection insurance,
  6. To conduct purchases from the store, issuing and sharing an e-invoice/e-archive invoice for purchases, to ensure you to benefit from post-sales operational services (modification, exchange, return, product inspection, home delivery, etc.) without having to submit invoices/receipts, to supply products which are not available at the store and deliver them directly to you,
  7. In cases where it is necessary to return the store purchase, in order for the refund to be made to your bank account during the return processes, in order to receive the payment if case of purchase by credit card;
  8. To make records (security camera (CCTV) images) when you visit the company sites, to ensure the security of persons and physical space,
  9. For the execution of storage and archive activities,
  10.  For the execution and supervision of management activities in accordance with the legislation, to inform and communicate with authorised institutions and organisations,
  11. In order to ensure, improve, supervise and follow-up suggestions and evaluate the business activities and ensure continuity,
  12. Regulate data security processes and internet access authorisations (log records),
  13. Providing proof that we fulfilled our legal obligations and to resolve disputes in accordance with legislation in the case of future disputes that may arise with persons with which the company is in a business relationship,
  14. In order to fulfil our legal obligations and to inform authorised persons and institutions.


Within the framework of Article 8 and 9 of KVKK, the personal data obtained from the subject groups here by Teks Team are taken within the scope of fulfilling legal obligations by taking the necessary security measures in line with the legal personal data processing purposes specified in Article (B) of this text and makes transfers to the specified Real Persons and Private Entities, Business Partners, shareholders, Authorised Public Organisations and Institutions:

  1. Logistics, cargo and courier companies, customs companies and contracted intermediary institutions for product shipment,
  2. Contracted insurance companies, insurance companies for shipping, finance companies;
  3. To suppliers for fabric and material supply;
  4. To contracted subcontractors for outsourced production;
  5. In order to carry out export, intermediary export companies;
  6. To credit insurance and/or financial institutions for the collection of receivables;
  7. To banks and electronic payment organisations, to payment organisations without recording credit card information in the use of payment by credit card for purchases in our store;
  8. e-mail server, e-invoice, e-archive invoice, e-dispatch note and e-book service providers, electronic notification tool service providers;
  9. Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO) and Mediterranean Exporters Unions (AKIB);
  10. To contracted company lawyers/law firms for legal procedures, legal and financial consultancy services and independent consultancy service providers;
  11. Tax office directorates and certified public accountants;
  12. To public institutions and organisations, subcontractors, business and solution partners to carry out business activities.


Your personal data is specified in Article 5/2 of the KVKK in order to fulfil the purpose specified in paragraph (B) of this text:

  1. It is clearly stipulated in the laws;
  2. It is necessary to process personal data belonging to the parties to the contract, provided that it is directly related to the drawing up or enforcement of a contract;
  3. It is mandatory for the data controller to fulfil their legal obligation;
  4. When data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right;
  5. If data processing is mandatory for legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not under harm;

Based on legal reasons, without the need for your express consent, it will be obtained by the following automatic or non-automatic methods, and stored in electronic and physical mediums by taking necessary administrative and technical measures.

By the automatic method:

  1. Obtaining your image by security camera in our company, branch facilities and buildings,
  2. Obtaining log records of our visitors using computers over the common network;
  3. Obtaining video and audio recordings of video calls within the scope of remote work;

Non-automatic method:

At the stages of the offer, contract, opening a running account and sales in the store, the documents, records and personal and specific data declared are collected.


Within the scope of Article 11 of the KVKK; as owner of the data, to ascertain whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been processed, to request to know the purpose of processing and whether they are used for their purpose, to know the third real or legal persons to whom your personal data is transferred in the country and/or abroad; although the data is processed according to the provisions of Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, to request the deletion or disposal of your personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing are eliminated and to request the notification of the transactions made within this scope to third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, to object to the emergence of a result against you by analysing your processed data exclusively through automated systems; in the event that you suffer a loss due to the unlawful processing of your data, you have the right to demand the compensation of the damage, and you may preferably submit your requests regarding these rights to the Personal Data Owner Application on our website by filling in all the information specified in the form and submitting to the company by the following methods in accordance with the Article 11 and paragraph 1 of Article 13 of the KVKK and the Memorandum on Application Procedures and Principles to Data Officer:

  1. By visiting the company in person at the address, Cay Mah. Abdi İpekçi Cd. No: 2/A Akdeniz/MERSİN
  2. In order to correctly confirm your identity and not to inform persons incorrectly, in writing, by means of a public notary or by registered mail,
  3. Via our registered electronic mail (KEP) address as teks-team@hs01.kep.tr,
  4. By sending an e-mail to kvkk@teks-team.com.tr using secure electronic signature, mobile signature or (if any) the e-mail address previously notified by you to the company and registered in our systems,
  5. Or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board at a time in the future,
  6. You can send your requests regarding your rights listed above to Teks Team Gıda Nak. Temizlik San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. and your request will be concluded as soon as possible and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the submission of application.
